Elizabeth (Liz) joined the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) New South Wales in June 2018 as a relief for a maternity leave position. She quickly earned the respect of the elected NSW Executive Committee (ie board) and staff that she was offered a full-time position.
Liz is one of ACA NSW’s Member Support Officers, chiefly triaging or dealing with in-bound telephone calls and e-mails from members about a whole host of issues and problems, from industrial relations, to legislative and regulatory advice, to training, to events as well as recommending suppliers and external entities of their products and services.
Elizabeth has 10 years experience in the Early Childhood and OSHC sectors and has directed and/or coordinated LDC and OSHC centres.
Always going above and beyond, Liz has taken ACA NSW into new directions with her natural abilities in online marketing. She has brought to life all of the modern promotional videos ACA NSW now broadcasts. This in turn has attracted significant and increased interests from across New South Wales in terms of approved providers’ and educators’ participation especially in ACA NSW’s Network Meetings and Wheels on the Bus Tours.
One of Liz’s other discovered talents is her creativity in desktop publishing. Our new The Nurture Nook quarterly publications as well as marketing collaterals, both hardcopy and electronic, was significantly revamped, developed and guided by her.
Members, the NSW Executive Committee, and her colleagues are all so very much impressed with the tremendous value-add she has already brought, above and beyond her own knowledge and experiences in early childhood education and care.
