As a supplier, software provider, producer, builder, architect, realtor, financier, business support provider, or one of the many inputs into the eco-system of what is early childhood education and care (ECEC), would you like additional insights and understandings of what Australia's and NSW's ECEC services are facing? What are the upcoming Federal and NSW Governments' reforms, changes and future challenges and opportunities for Approved Providers, educators, teachers, children and families?
ACA NSW hosts two Suppliers' Sector Insight evenings each year providing suppliers to the ECEC sector with greater clarification and identification of potential solutions. And ACA NSW continues to be available to assist suppliers (especially member suppliers) to have more effective and relevant offerings and supports to ECEC services.
Topics discussed include:
-
the future capacity of services and the sector - what are the projected/planned increased number of children aged 0-5 years old to be educated and cared for, how will the increases in capacity and new services be managed;
- the future of skilled labour supply - what are the governments' and sector's plans to address labour shortages as well as changes to industrial/workplace laws;
-
the future of quality - what are the upcoming changes to services’ quality ratings, building and architectural designs, as well as children’s outcomes and corresponding changes in the compliance regime;
-
the future of financial sustainability - what are the future government and non-government financial assistance, funding and investments;
-
the future of data - what inter-entity exchanges are being explored, and what are the benefits being sought; and
