COVID-19: Waiver of Gap Fees for LDCs extended to 18 October 2021

The Federal Department of Education has announced that the expiry of the waiver of gap fees:

• for long daycare services will now be on 18 October 2021
• for out-of-school-hours-care services will be 25 October 2021

This follows the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW's concerns about the confusions arising from the expiry of the waiver for gap fees on 11 October 2021 for services not receiving the Business Continuity Payments.
