New NSW Transition to School Statement Trials

The NSW Department of Education is welcoming early childhood education and care services to trial its new Transition To School Digital Statements.

These Transition to School Digital Statements are intended to enable services to (more consistently) communicate their children's prior-to-school learning and development to their new school, to support continuity of learning.

Early childhood educators and teachers may complete a Transition to School Digital Statement for each child in their year before school.

At this stage, these new Transition To School Digital Statements will initially be made available to government schools, and in time (possibly in 2023 or 2024) to non-government schools.

The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW intends to collect as much feedback as possible about the new Transition To School Digital Statements so that any worthwhile and possible improvements can be made.
