Since the introduction of the new Child Care Subsidy (CCS) on 2 July 2018, parents have had to make new enrolments under CCS in order for their children to receive such benefits.

And during the period of 2 July 2018 to 30 September 2018, CCS parents who enrol during that time will have their CCS contributions backdated to when they first enrolled. After 30 September 2018, CCS contributions will only be backdated by 2 weeks.

So, as 30 September 2018 fast approaches, all childcare service providers are encouraged to ensure that all their parents have applied or are enrolled before 30 September 2018 to receive their maximum entitlements possible.

The alternative would be parents paying full fees unless they have completed their CCS enrolments successfully.
