The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW has been invited by the Deputy Premier (the Hon John Barilaro MP), the NSW Treasurer (the Hon Dominic Perrottet MP) and the NSW Minister for Customer Service (the Hon Victor Dominello MP) to ask ACA NSW members as to how the NSW Government can help improve NSW's early childhood education and care sector.

Their jointly-signed letter reads:

"The NSW Government remains determined to do everything possible to keep people in jobs and businesses in business. We need to work together to ensure we return to a position of economic strength within a COVID-19 safe environment. We recognise the critical contribution your sector makes to both our broader economic recovery and the livelihoods of so many individuals and families. Accordingly, with the national roadmap now in place, we would be grateful if you could assist us with the following:

• If your sector has been affected by health restrictions, what health and safety mitigation strategies would enable your sector to reopen safely?

• Are there regulatory reform opportunities that would assist your sector’s recovery? These may include any temporary regulatory relaxations that have assisted your sector."

To that end, ACA NSW members are invited to provide your suggestions by COB Friday, 22 May 2020 via the form below.
