Good Friday (Public Holiday)

What is Good Friday?

Good Friday is a Christian religious commemoration that signifies the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ at Calvary. This significant day falls on the Friday before Easter Sunday within Holy Week, forming part of the Paschal Triduum. It sometimes aligns with the Jewish Passover. After the last supper, Jesus was tortured by the Roman guards, and was nailed on a cross on top of a hill. His body was then taken from the cross and placed in a stone tomb.
