What is International Men's Day?
International Men’s Day is celebrated each year in Novemeber to raise awareness for gender equality, and encourages mens health by celebrating and reconising the social, cultural and political achievements of men.

How to get involved in International Men's Day!
- Hold an IMD celebration at your centre – Hold an IMD themed morning tea or lunch, with male speakers
- Encouraing children to bring a photo or to discuss an important male figure in their lives; i.e. their dad, a friend, a role model, an athlete they may look up to.
- Printing posters and discussing men who have had their voice heard and their achievements
- Create something kind for a male you love – Whether it’s your father, grandfather, brother or a male friend… Why not celebrate IMD by making them feel special?
