On the road again....our Member visits

 Our Member Support Officers are keen and excited to get out on the road and visit our wonderful Members. They are taking the opportunity to:

• meet new members
• re-acquaint themselves with long-standing members 
• share some tips and tricks
• introduce members to our fantastic resources
• test drive our website with members
• ensure members are receiving our timely news & updates
• appraise members of our current advocacy work in the sector
• remind members about training opportunities
• invite members to upcoming events
• share supplier deals and offers
• answer members questions

06 June 2024 - Hopskotch Kindergarten

Such a thrill to visit Amelia (director) at Hopskotch Kindergarten and all her educators and teachers! It was also great to get Amelia and her team's feedback on what ACA NSW can do better for them and other ACA NSW members! Thank you Hopskotch Kindergarten for receiving ACA NSW MSO Joelle.

29 May 2024 - Aurora Early Learning Centre

Finally! ACA NSW MSO Joelle got to meet one of our long-term members, Dalal at Aurora Early Learning centre! Despite the many telephone calls and e-mails exchanged, it was wonderful to finally meet in person and put a face to each other. We even critically reflected on our sector's issues and challenges such that Joelle brought back some great ideas.

14 May 2024 - Kreation Kidz

Every year, ACA NSW MSOs get to talk to hundreds of members (ie that's thousands of telephone calls and e-mails!) One of our most active members would have to be Kreation Kidz in Lalor Park! ACA NSW MSO Rachael had a treat when she caught up with Jo (Kreation Kidz' dedicated director and advocate for the ECEC sector) along with Bernadette and Bruno, enthusiastic Approved Providers in person. 

 29 April 2024 - Pearl of Wisdom Early Learning Centre

Joelle had a productive meeting with Fahrin at Pearl of Wisdom Early Learning Centre on April 29, 2024. Together, they explored the various member benefits offered by ACA and discussed upcoming events that could benefit Fahrin and the centre.

 25 April 2024 - Teddy’s Little Treasures

Vanessa and Rachael met on March 22nd to explore member benefits and upcoming events. They also explored the importance of sustaining support and motivation for our educators in navigating sector challenges and classroom challenges. Teddys Little Treasures, members since 2016, have been encouraging and we cannot wait to further collaborate with them in the future.

 25 April 2024 - Valley Heights Preschool

Rachael engaged in an informative Member Support Visit with Anita from Valley Heights Preschool, exploring the pressing challenges confronting the sector. A central topic which emerged was the concerning oversupply of Childcare Services in certain locations, as well as the emergence of new and upgraded preschools on school grounds. Anita has been a committed member since 2015, and for her support, we extend our heartfelt appreciation.

 25 April 2024 - Widgets ELC

On April 25, Rachael met with Sylvia from Widgets ELC, an interactive member of ACA NSW. Sylvia praised ACA NSW as an association and praised the Member Support Officers for their prompt and reliable member support services. Together, Rachael and Sylvia investigated how to optimise all member benefits, and discussed upcoming events like the Inner Circle, and the potential 25% wage increase. Sylvia’s support is truly appreciated.

 24 April 2024 - Munchkin Manor Childcare Centre

On April 24, 2024, Joelle visited Munchkin Manor Childcare Centre to meet with a longstanding member, Manal. It was a pleasure for Joelle to finally connect with Manal, who has been a valued member for a significant period. They discussed upcoming events and initiatives.

 11 April 2024 - The Hills Long Day Preschool

On April 11, 2024, Joelle met with Victoria, a new member from The Hills Long Day Preschool. During this meeting, Joelle provided Victoria with an overview of ACA's services, member benefits, and advocacy initiatives. We warmly welcome Victoria into the ACA community.

 21 March 2024 - Alphabet Cottage

On the 21st of March 2024, our MSO Joelle had the pleasure of visiting one of our long-term members Norine from Alphabet Cottage.
Joelle also paid a visit on the 28th of March to Allan from Wetherill park Preschool, another member that has been part of our community for a while, This was a great opportunity to meet face-face and discuss any challenges they may be facing in the childcare sector as well as a range of member benefits.

 19 March 2024 - Pinnacle Early Education

One of our MSO representatives, Rachael, met with Diana from Pinnacle Early Education, who is a supportive member of ACA NSW. During the member visit, Rachael and Diana discussed the variety of Member Benefits that can be utilised and explored opportunities on how to further collaborate.

 7 March 2024 - Youngies Care Centre, Casula

 On 7 March 2024, one of ACA NSW's Member Support Officers (MSO) (Joelle), paid a visit to Youngies Care Centre. Joelle had the pleasure of meeting Nadia, our long-term member, and the director of the childcare centre. It was a great opportunity to connect with someone who has been part of our community for a while. Joelle and Nadia had a productive face-to-face visit where they brainstormed ways ACA NSW could continue to assist her centre and discussed any challenges faced by the sector.

22 February 2024 - Montessori, Merrylands

On 22 February 2024, one of ACA NSW's Member Support Officers (MSO) (Rachael), paid a visit to Montessori Merrylands, a longstanding member of ACA NSW. During the visit, Rachael met with Approved Provider Natalie and Nominated Supervisor Jess. The bond between Rachael and Montessori Merrylands has thrived, as they've shared insights on recent sector changes and exchanged thoughts on recent advocacies. It was great to reconnect with a valued member who has consistently appreciated ACA NSW's efforts throughout the years.
