ACA NSW calls on NSW Deputy Premier to intervene to help sector

ACA NSW has written to the NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Education & Early Learning (the Hon Prue Car MP)  asking her to intervene to help the sector at a time of severe labour shortages and much higher resignations and attritions.

Despite NSW-based services being a third of all services nationally, the excessively high number of confirmed breaches by NSW-based early childhood education and care services dwarfs all confirmed breaches by all other states and territories combined across the last 4 years.

ACA NSW seeks a new equilibrium whereby NSW-based services will have a more sensible level of regulatory compliance activities without compromising on quality, outcomes for children and the safety of children.
