Following the Federal Ministers' announcement, advanced child safety training's courses #3 and #4 are now available. Course #5 is anticipated to be released on 30 September 2026.
And even though apparently 99% of relevant individuals have completed their Foundation Training, those employed or volunteering before 14 August 2026 have until 27 August 2026 to complete their Foundation Training.

The most important requirements are as:

After 14 August 2026:
all new employees associated with the abovementioned roles must complete the Foundation Training before working directly with children; and
all new employees who do not work directly with children must complete the Foundation Training within 14 days of being employed.
All relevant individuals must complete the Advanced Training's courses #3 and #4 by 30 March 2027*.
After 30 March 2027*, all new employees associated with the abovementioned relevant roles must complete the Advanced Training courses #3, #4 and #5 within 3 months of their start date.
Approved Providers must record the completion of national child safety training in the National Early Childhood Worker Register for all staff and volunteers.
All staff must complete refresher training once every 2 years.
* denotes the anticipated the 6 months after the release of Course #5 anticipated to be 30 September 2026
