All ACA states gathered in Sydney to ...

Over 2 days (18-19 February 2026), all ACA state bodies' elected leaders met in Sydney to discuss:

• child safety;

• worker retention payments;

• gender-based undervaluation decision;

• the upcoming federal budget;

• the upcoming National Educators Registry;

• the regulatory authorities;

• the future plans of federal governments;

• workplace support for ACA states' members;

• workforce qualifications and supply;

• sector sustainability;

• children's outcomes and so much more!

In our continual pursuit for the best start in life for all children, all ACA states were animated in our conversations, discussions and debates that will benefit not just NSW but all of Australia.

ACA representatives were also graced to have dinner with senior representatives from the Federal Parliament, ACECQA, the NSW Department of Education, Guild Insurance, Guild Early Learning, ChildCareSuper, KKTC as well as the great Maggie Dent and the amazing Tina and Mark of Lah-Lah Big Live Band!
