In anticipation of the Federal Election that must be held by 17 May 2025, ACA NSW continues to engage with all political parties to ensure that ACA NSW members are heard.
To date, the Federal Opposition has not yet made any significant announcements about what they would do differently if they were to form government.
Nevertheless, ACA NSW President Lyn Connolly was recently engaging with the Federal Oppostion Treasurer, the Hon Angus Taylor MP.
Mr Taylor was across the early childhood education and care sector's Worker Retention Payments, the Gender Undervaluation case before the Fair Work Commission, the challenges with Child Care Subsidies and the Inclusion Support Program, as well as the jurisdictions' inconsistent implementation of the National Quality Ratings, the National Law and the National Regulations.
Although primarily led by ACA National, ACA NSW continues to engage with Federal Parliamentarians especially in highlighting the different outcomes and experiences had by NSW's early childhood education and care services.
