Federal Labor's proposal to increase CCS to up to 90%

The Australian Childcare Alliance has welcomed the Australian Labor Party's proposal to increase investment in Australian families by increasing the (Commonwealth's Child Care) subsidy rate to 90%, and we called on all parties to fully embrace the evidence-based recommendations of the recent KPMG report. However, we’d like to see both major parties commit to relaxing the Activity Test to provide all families with two days a week of early learning. This would greatly benefit our most vulnerable children, and we have been heavily engaging with the Federal Government on this point.
