Still confused about the Personal Devices restrictions?

Since 1 September 2025, restrictions on personal devices in NSW have become more complicated.

The NSW Government has issued a Ministerial Direction called the Education and Care Services (Supply, Authorisation and Use of Devices) Order 2025.

ACA NSW will be compiling a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and their answers as soon as possible.

In the meantime, ACA NSW has submitted fourteen (14) questions that only the NSW Regulatory Authority can provide clarity on how they and their NSW Authorised Officers will interpret and respond accordingly.
