Updating the Guidelines for Authorised Officers visiting services

As we are all "living with COVID", it is time to revisit how Authorised Officers of the NSW Department of Education conduct themselves when visiting early childhood education and care services particularly during spotchecks/compliance visits as well as assessment and ratings.

In October 2020, the NSW Department of Education published its Guidelines for Authorised Officers visiting services. Again, ACA NSW appreciates the NSW Department of Education for establishing those guidelines.

ACA NSW has drafted a number of proposed revisions to the said Guidelines and is seeking feedback from ACA NSW members on those. ACA NSW also welcomes any other revisions and suggestions that ought to be considered.
