To ensure a smooth transition, key staff in your service must register for a PRODA (Provider Digital Access) account – this will strengthen the integrity of the child care system and allow relevant staff to interact with the new IT system. The registration process will require personnel to create a unique username and password. As part of the registration, individuals will be required to provide identity documents such as a passport, driver’s licence or Medicare card to verify their identity in the system.
Some personnel may undertake dual roles, for instance, a Service Contact may be the same person as a Person with Responsibility for the Day-to-Day Operation of the Service. In this situation the person will only need to complete the online registration process once. To find out more about the new personnel roles that must register, download a copy of the Personnel Fact Sheet.
You and your staff will only need 10 minutes each to register!
The registration should only take 10 minutes per person and can be completed NOW in readiness for the transition this year. Transition Task Card - Registration.
