Notwithstanding the NSW Department of Education normally updating the audience on policy, programs, funding and regulatory matters, ACA NSW is recommending that members be on the alert about possible proposals and information relating to:

  • the governments' options resulting from the Review of the National Quality Framework;
  • the results of those services who have opted-in to use ACECQA's Self-Assessment Tool as an alternative to submitting their QIP for their assessment and rating;
  • the outcomes of (not) funding (all) 3-year-olds in 2019; and
  • the looming introduction of NSW's unique Star Rating beginning 1 July 2020.
