What is Christmas Eve?

Christmas Eve is the day before Christmas. The Festive season is to commemorate the birth of Jesus. This day is celebrated across the world in different ways in different cultures.

Activities:

• Bake Christmas cookies
• Wear Christmas PJ’s
• Make reindeer dust for children to sprinkle on their front walk away at home
• Ask educators and families to donate food, utilities and toys to donate to the unfortunate
• Play Christmas carols for the children to sign and dance along
• Invite the children to play pin the nose on Rudolph while being blind folded
• Write a letter to Santa and post it out to the children’s home
• Read a variety of Christmas stories
