Priority Vaccinations for ECE Educators

By now, Early Childhood Education and Care services should have received an email from the Department of Education (sent on 15 August 2021) confirming the prioritisation of vaccinations for ECE educators in the following areas:
 

Local Government Areas of concern:

  • Bayside 
  • Blacktown
  • Burwood 
  • Campbelltown
  • Canterbury-Bankstown
  • Cumberland
  • Fairfield
  • Georges River
  • Liverpool
  • Parramatta
  • Strathfield

Penrith Suburbs:

  • Caddens
  • Claremont Meadows
  • Colyton
  • Erskine Park
  • Kemps Creek
  • Kingswood
  • Mount Vernon
  • North St Marys
  • Orchard Hills
  • Oxley Park
  • St Clair
  • St Marys

Please note that when selecting the appropriate authorised worked category, there is currently no category specifically for Early Childhood Education and Care educators, so please select the option closest, being that of teachers.

  • Pfizer clinics - people aged 16-39 years:
    • NSW Health Vaccination Centre, Sydney Olympic Park
    • Qudos Bank Arena NSW Health Vaccination Centre
    • South Western Sydney Vaccination Centre
    • Prairiewood Vaccination clinic
    • Nepean Vaccination clinic
    • St George vaccination clinic
  • AZ clinics - people 18 years and above:
    • Blacktown Hospital Vaccination Clinic
    • NSW Health Vaccination Centre, Sydney Olympic Park
    • Prairiewood Vaccination clinic
    • Caddens Vaccination clinic
    • Rockdale Walk-In Vaccination Clinic at Rockdale Townhall
    • Hurstville Walk-in Vaccination Clinic at Marana Auditorium, Hurstville Entertainment Centre

On the day of your vaccination you will need to take photo ID as well as proof of your place of work. If you do not take both of these, you may not be able to proceed for your vaccination.
