What does Earth Hour Celebrate?
Early Hour is a yearly event observed by the World Wide Fund For Nature which aims to encourages millions of people, communities, and business to participate in turning off non-essential lights and electricity equipment for one hour (8:30 to 9:30pm) at the end of March. This is to raise awareness to support climate change and global warming on this planet.
This event started in Australia in 2007 and was called Lights-Off and now has grown globally with more that 7,000 cities and 187 counted that take part in this special event.
