Taking risk out of work - Protect yourself from danger and red tape!

Taking risk out of work - Protect yourself from danger and red tape!

Do you own a business? Are you finding it challenging to keep up to date? What about people and compliance management? Are you on top of it? Does your Staff meet expectations or are you just functioning? Instead, do you want your business and staff to flourish in these disruptive times?

Being a business owner, people manager or supervisor in this day and age can be difficult to say the least.
To compete and stay abreast of both traditional and regulation changes and requirements it’s essential you understand and know what to do from a best practice perspective. This type of due diligence mitigates risk and puts you and/or your business in the best possible position. Whether you’ve had formal training or not, you continuously need to develop your skills and capabilities to take your business and professional development to the next level.

This half day WHS Compliance & Risk Management workshop will give participants skills, capabilities and an Action Plan to take away and immediately transfer the following learnings to their working roles.

• Identifying what Work Health Safety (WHS) is and how important it is to ensure you mitigate your risk and follow procedures.

• Undertake risk management and learn how to actually do risk assessments.

• Build on your knowledge of anti-bullying and harassment legislation, regulations and practices to ensure you are not breaking the law.

• Reduce and manage conflict and identify best practice mediation skills.

• Understand workplace well-being programs that reduce mental health and build on mindfulness and appreciative enquiry principles and strategies.

• Develop & report on your Take Away – Action Plan.
