What is White Ribbon Day?

White Ribbon Day is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness about and combating violence against women. This campaign encourages men to pledge to never commit, condone and remain silent about violence against women. This day also encourages education, advocacy, and action to end gender-based violence and promote gender equality.

Activities: 

• Group Time: Have a discussion with the children about the importance of treating others with respect, kindness, and empathy.
• Awareness Ribbon Activity: Create white ribbon awareness ribbons with children using white paper or fabric. Discuss the significance of the white ribbon as a symbol of the campaign to end violence against women.
• Story Time: Read books that promote messages of gender equality, respect, and standing up against violence.
  
• Kindness Challenge: Launch a kindness challenge where children are encouraged to perform acts of kindness for others throughout the day
