What is Halloween?

Halloween is celebrated annually and symbolises the evening before All Saint’s Day. Individuals celebrate this day with parties, spooky costumes, pumpkin carvings, and the giving of candy.

Activities: 

• Costume parade: encourage the children to come to the centre dressed up in their Halloween costumes, and organise a parade for them to showcase their outfits
• Pumpkin decorating: using art and craft supplies, encourage the children to decorate their own pumpkins
• Halloween sensory bin: placing spooky objects such as plastic spiders and Halloween themed objects, place it in a tub of rice and encourage the children to explore using their hands
