It is now well known at the policy level that the early learning sector has reached a national workforce crisis. There are simply not enough entrants into the sector to meet the demand and to meet our regulatory requirements for the child-educator ratios.
 
We're well aware that the situation has been further amplified by the impacts of COVID-19, the growing demand for places for children, the growing issue of new centre builds and population sizes in rural and remote areas.
 
As we continue our discussions with the Federal Government about this critical issue, we are keen to provide them with a quick snapshot of how our members are travelling right now

To this end, we urge you to complete our quick survey about your current staffing situation. With accurate and current data ACA can continue to work with relevant bodies to assist with any workforce concerns.
 
The survey should be completed by the owner/operator or Centre Director and should only take you about a few minutes to complete. It does not require any personal information that reveals your identity.
