Four male MPs came to the IECS2018 and talked about the role of men ... and childcare.

“Let’s face it. The parent who takes primary responsibility over childcare of their children tends to be the mother. 97% of childcare educators and teachers are women. Over 70% of childcare operators are women. In the age of gender equality, should we get more men in childcare? What are the barriers to getting more men in childcare? Do customers want men to be their children’s carers? Are men simply not as trustworthy as women to be their children’s carers? Or is this one of those “let’s not admit this” as a failure of gender equality.”
