Following the NSW State Election on 23 March 2019, the Hon Gladys Berejiklian MP became the first female to be elected in her own right as the Premier of New South Wales. And on the evening of 30 April 2019, the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW President (Lyn Connolly) and CEO (Chiang Lim) re-connected with Premier Berejiklian and her Ministers at NSW Parliament House.

That same evening, ACA NSW also caught up with:

  1. The Hon Dominic Perrottet MP, NSW Treasurer
  2. The Hon Damien Tudehope MLC, NSW Minister for Finance and Minister for Small Business
  3. The Hon David Elliott MP, NSW Minister for Police and Emergency Services

In discussions, some of the many concerns that were raised included the apparent delays in funding of community preschools in 2019 as promised in the 2018 Budget, the implementation of out-of-school-hours-care services in all NSW primary schools, payroll tax and the consequences of rising labour costs.
