The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW has today (10 September 2019) been invited by the Office of the Federal Minister for Education, the Hon Dan Tehan MP, to meet with the Federal Department of Education to discuss how the Federal Government could release more information to address childcare oversupply.

Office of Dan Tehan invites ACA NSW

Since early 2017, the issue of childcare oversupply is one that ACA NSW and its peer state bodies have been pushing for Australian governments to work together to solve. Ironically, it has the twin negative effect of reducing occupancy levels for existing service providers and pushes up fees as a result.

ACA NSW members will be kept informed of its progress.
