World Down Syndrome Day

What is World Down Syndrome Day?

The United Nations General Assembly declared 21st March World Down Syndrome Day. This day celebrated those who either have Down Syndrome, or live or work with someone who has Down Syndrome. When we all come together to participate in activities and events to raise awareness, we advocate for the rights, inclusion and wellbeing of people with down syndrome.
