Retain like a Pro 2023

As services grapple with the worsening labour shortages, retaining existing skilled educators, teachers and staff is more vital than ever.

And while competing with other employers on pay may be one way of retaining your service’s most important asset (ie your employees), educators, teachers and staff are also considering other working conditions and offerings.

The ACA NSW Quickies – Retain Like A Pro will cover the following topics, information, advice, tips and even “tricks”:

  • What are the (early) indicators of employee burnout and dissatisfaction?
  • What are the range of competitive offerings by employers?
  • What are the methodologies of ensuring higher job satisfaction and employee engagement?
  • How can services achieve effective work-life balances for employees?
  • Are there initiatives and practices that can produce positive and supportive cultures for employees?
  • Do Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) work for services and employees?

This ACA NSW Quickies session is designed for the service’s owners, Approved Providers, Nominated Supervisors and any other relevant senior staff members.
