Member Spotlight: Being Lake Haven

It’s only been six months since we transformed our Lake Haven Centre, introducing new management and educators, and in that time, we are thrilled to have been recognised as an exceeding centre in our recent assessment. Thank you to our incredible team of educators for making this possible.

At Being Lake Haven, we’re focused on the individual empowerment and holistic development of each child, delivered in an environment full of light, fun and joy. The nurturing and caring educators work closely with families to provide a welcoming home away from home for the children.

We believe that every child is special and welcome everyone from different backgrounds, cultures and abilities. As the only Exceeding service in our area, we are known for going the extra mile for our families, helping them through challenging circumstances, and taking care to ensure that each child’s general wellbeing is looked after.  

Our team at Lake Haven works closely with KU Inclusion Agency, Department of Communities and Justice and various other outside agencies to support a community with various social and emotional issues.  Our practise is guided by consistent reflections enabling us to empower children to be decision-makers within the service in all areas of their life.
