Welcome to the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW's latest COVID-19 SMS Alert for ACA NSW member early childhood education and care (ECEC) services.
In this edition, the following are available to ACA NSW Members for free (which may require you to enter your username and password to access):
- today's announcements from Federal and NSW Governments about financial and business continuity that are relevant to ECEC services dated 23 March 2020;
- the most recent "Novel Coronavirus: (Virtually) Everything you need to know" webinar video that was broadcast on 20 March 2020;
- a new "(Risk) Emergency Management Plan 2019/2020" template for members to download if needed;
- an updated "FAQ: Can I use the 'stand down' provisions of the Fair Work Act";
- the Federal Department of Education's video webcast on 19 March 2020; and
- the new social media tile "Washing hands and singing the ABCs".
To ensure that the Federal Government is able to respond to the needs of ECEC services, they are also looking for feedback from you. You can provide feedback to the Federal Government via here.
