This day encourages peace and harmony around the world, encouraging people to come together and work towards a peaceful future. Peace-building efforts are encouraged to inspire individuals to act and create a more peaceful world for all.

  • Discuss the importance of peace, friendship, and kindness during group time
  • Peace Gardening: create a peace garden outside where the children can plant flowers and plants while discussing the importance of nurturing and caring for living things
  • Friendship Bracelets: Make friendship bracelets for the children to share as a symbol of friendship and unity
  • Peaceful Yoga Sessions: Encourage the children to participate in a yoga session focused on relaxation and breathing exercises
  • Peaceful Music and Dance: Play peaceful music and encourage the children to dance to the music
  • Peaceful Brainstorm: discuss how each person can offer peace to one another
