Activities: 

• Nature walks and litter-Pick up: Take children on a nature walk around the childcare centre or nearby park. Provide gloves and bags for collecting litter along the way. Encourage children to identify and pick up any trash they find, emphasizing the importance of keeping our environment clean.
• Recycled Art Project: Set up a recycled art station where children can create artwork using recycled materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, and aluminium cans.
• Group Time: Have a class discussion of why it’s important to take care of our environment and what are things we can do to keep our planet clean.
• Story Time: Read stories related to keeping the environment clean, recycling and protecting nature.
  
• Gardening and Planting: Engage children in gardening activities by planting flowers, herbs, or vegetables in the childcare centre’s garden or in pots.
