Member Spotlight: Jenny's Kindergarten and Early Learning Centre, Leichhardt

Jenny’s Kindergarten & Early Learning Centre, Leichhardt is a boutique centre in the heart of the Inner West. Upon visiting our centre, you will experience a unique design where the old meets the new. The original heritage medical practice has been retained, and we extended the rear with the intention to create an inviting environment enriched with literacy, exploration and adventure.

Each of our Jenny’s Kindergarten Centres are unique and carefully designed to ensure it fulfils the need of the community and the families within each area. Since opening in 2016, our Leichhardt Centre has aimed to be the hub of the Leichhardt community, working together with the local schools, local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Artists, as well as creating our own Street Library to share all of our wonderful literature.

Our Leichhardt Centre is a pure exemplar of what you’d call your second home. Our educators have been with us from the beginning of our Journey with the Centre opening and helped shape little minds from their early years into the transition to Kindergarten. Our recent exceeding assessment and rating outcome was achievable through the continuous support from all our families, the collaborative learning that occurring daily with the children, our relationships with the community, the Jenny’s Kindergarten Management team, and more importantly, the practice of critical reflection; which ultimately results in continuous improvement to strengthen your current practices.
