Federal Election 2022: Pose your questions to the politicians

Now that the Federal Election has been called for Saturday, 21 May 2022, ACA NSW will focus on those marginal seats where elections are won-or-lost.

For this upcoming federal election, the following are the marginal federal electorates across NSW:

  1. Macquarie (in the Blue Mountains) (0.19% margin) (see electorate map)
  2. Eden-Monaro (outside of Canberra) (0.85% margin) (see electorate map)
  3. Dobell (in the Central Coast) (1.50% margin) (see electorate map)
  4. Gilmore (in NSW's south east coast) (2.61% margin) (see electorate map)
  5. Reid (in Sydney's Inner West) (3.18% margin) (see electorate map)
  6. Robertson (in Central Coast) (4.24% margin) (see electorate map)
  7. Lindsay (in Western Sydney) (5.04% margin) (see electorate map)

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, guardian, Approved Provider, educator or teacher, you can submit your question(s) via https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CVL575W. Your questions will then be posed to both the incumbent parliamentarian and his/her opponent.

It is ACA NSW's intentions to video record and broadcast their answers particularly for the benefit of those early childhood education and care services and their families in the abovementioned electorates.

Should those politicians decline to answer your questions in the manner above, then ACA NSW will also share their responses (or no response) as well.

PLEASE NOTE: ACA NSW is prepared to produce a letter for ACA NSW members confirming your participation in the above for the purposes of demonstrating Quality Area 6 – Collaborative partnerships with families and communities, in particular Element 6.2.3 - Community engagement.

For any further information/clarification, please contact the ACA NSW team on 1300 556 330 or nsw@childcarealliance.org.au.
