Hear and engage with the future of NSW's early childhood education and care

In anticipation of the upcoming NSW State Election (Saturday, 25 March 2023), ACA NSW has invited both the NSW Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning (the Hon Sarah Mitchell MLC) and the NSW Shadow Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning (Ms Prue Car MP) to separate virtual town hall meetings.

At these virtual town hall meetings, NSW Minister Mitchell and NSW Shadow Minister Car:

  1. have been asked to outline their plans for the future of NSW's early childhood education and care; and
  2. will answer as many questions as possible that have been posed to them from registered participants.

In addition to invitations to Approved Providers, educators and teachers, NSW-based services' parents and their families will also be invited (via services) to register to participate that can also fulfil:

ACA NSW can provide Approved Providers registered for these virtual town hall meetings with de-identified and aggregated reports on feedback and input from participating families based on their local postcodes where available. Such reports can then be used to support services' evidence for those respective Quality Areas, especially on how the information can affect them.

Dates of the virtual town hall meetings will be announced beginning next Monday (13 February 2023). Registration and the corresponding flyer for parents for the virtual town halls will be available then.
