Celebrated on June 1st every year, Globe Day of Parents is a day to appreciate all mums and dads around the world and what they do for all children around the world.

Activities:

• Encourage the children to make handmade cards and crafts for their parents 
• Sit around and listen to books relating to different types of families 
• Start a pot plant at school so the children can take home and share with their family. You can call this the Family Pot Plant 
• Sit around and brainstorm what makes your parents special to you
