International Day of the Boy focuses on boys and their wellbeing, including things they need in order to be happy, healthy and valued.

Activities:

• Superhero Dress-up Day: Encourage children to come dressed as their favourite male superhero
• Storytime: Read stories to the children related to boys/male role models
• Storytime with a Male role Model: Invite male role models from the community such as fathers, grandfathers, uncles or local heroes such as firefighters or police officers to come read a story to the children at the service.
• Group time: Have a discussion with the children and encourage them to share who their male role models.
