What is Mothers Day?

Mother’s Day is a celebration to honour and appreciate mothers and mother figures for their love, care, and sacrifices. This day encourages everyone to express their gratitude to these mothers by showering them with thoughtful gifts such as flowers and cards, spending quality time together, and helping them through acts of service.

Activities:

• Art and craft: Children can create a Mother’s day card
• Mother’s Day morning tea: Organise a morning tea with Mother’s and their children, they can enjoy some refreshments and morning tea together.
• Baking experience: Children can bake treats for their mothers such as cookies and cupcakes.
• Story time: Read a story to children related to Mothers
• Flower pot: Children plant flowers into a pot as a project to begin a couple weeks before mothers day. Children can decorate the pot as well.
