Passover

What is Passover?

Passover is a Jewish holiday when families remember how their ancestors escaped from slavery in Egypt long ago. They celebrate with a special meal called a Seder, eat unleavened bread called matzah, and retell the story of freedom. It's a time to be thankful and to think about helping others who are not free.
