• Wattle Seed Sensory Play: Set up a sensory bin filled with dried wattle seeds or other natural materials like sand or rice. Let kids explore the textures, colours, and shapes of the seeds through sensory play activities like scooping, pouring, and sorting.
• Wattle Planting: Organize a tree planting activity with kids to plant wattle seeds or seedlings in a suitable outdoor location. Teach them about the importance of native plants in the ecosystem and how they can contribute to preserving Australia's natural environment.
• Wattle Cooking: Incorporate wattle into cooking activities by making wattle seed biscuits, wattle seed pancakes, or wattle seed damper.
  
• Wattle Storytime: Read books about wattle trees and their significance in Australian culture and history. Encourage discussion about the symbolism of wattle and its importance as a national emblem.
