Annual wage increase(s) to be announced on Monday, 3 June 2024

The Fair Work Commission (FWC) will announce the annual wage increase(s) on Monday, 3 June 2024 beginning at 10.30 am.

What is not known is whether the FWC will also announce a higher wage for employees in feminised industries following the ACTU's application for a 9% increase on 22 May 2024.

Please note that this annual wage increase(s) will be separate to the Federal Government's Supported Bargaining Process underway since 6 June 2023 (and not yet completed) where unions have applied for a 25% wage increase for the early childhood education and care sector.
