The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) rates are adjusted at the start of each financial year based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
From 10 July 2023, the CCS family income thresholds, annual cap and hourly rate caps will change.
For your convenience, the new hourly rate caps and family income thresholds are as follows:

Families with more than one child aged 5 or under in care can get a higher subsidy for their second child and younger children. They currently pay an extra 30% on top of their income-tested rate for eligible children, up to a maximum of 95%.
