Early Learning is no place for hate

In the early morning of 21 January 2025, OAC Maroubra was set alight and spray painted with anti-Semitic graffiti.

Although not a member of ACA NSW, we have extended our offer of assistance to them.

ACA NSW has also been advised by the NSW Department of Education that:

"... the Regulatory Authority, together with ECO’s Local Operations team, are working with the service to understand what support they require including supporting the wellbeing of staff and children and the availability of places in local services to ensure children still have access to ECEC. The Department will continue to provide appropriate support, particularly once we have a clearer understanding of the needs of Only About Children. We will also work with other Government agencies as appropriate."

ACA NSW CEO Chiang Lim has visited the site and is also seeking possible additional assistance and assurances for other early childhood education and care services.
