The 'Jobs for Families' Child Care Package Bill was tabled in Parliament 2 December 2015, alongside an Explanatory Memorandum and the final Decision Regulation Impact Statement. The tabling of the Bill is a major milestone, but we have a very busy few months ahead of us, as a Senate Inquiry is now underway, looking at the provisions of the Bill.

Whilst there is a lot to like about the Child Care Package, we still have many unanswered questions and a few major concerns that must be addressed if we are to support it. We strongly believe that ‪#‎AllChildrenCount‬ and we will continue to work tirelessly fighting for a package that delivers outcomes to benefit every child, no matter their parents' circumstances.
