Especially at this time when you might have a positive COVID-19 incident and the NSW Government instructs you to temporarily shutdown, television/radio/newspaper reporters may just be "knocking" on your door wanting to interview you.

If you are unable to handle such public spotlights, as a member of the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW you can call us on 1300 556 330 or nsw@childcarealliance.org.au for urgent assistance.

And for crisis communications, ACA NSW's public relations partner (Mojo Media's Justin Kelly and his team) can also be available.

ACA NSW and/or Mojo Media would directly engage the journalist(s) and help direct their story toward the outcome that is in the best possible interest of the early childhood education and care service.

It’s only been one year since we opened our doors in Pymble, and in that time, we are thrilled to have been recognised as an exceeding centre in our recent assessment. Thank you to our incredible team of educators for making this possible.

...

A home designed for children

Every corner and space in our new purpose-built centre has been thoughtfully designed to inspire, captivate and spark the curiosity and imagination of children whether they’re inside, or out. Come and see for yourself.

 Seriously Sustainable

We take sustainability seriously and are 100% off the grid for power and water and have incorporated a wide range of ‘over and above’ features into the design of the centre to ensure the safety of every child on our premises.

Delicious food lovingly prepared

Teaching children about where their food comes from and getting them involved in the process of cooking helps children develop healthy eating habits. Each week our inhouse chef prepares nutritious meals where children are encouraged to serve themselves, try new foods and flavours and enjoy shared mealtimes.

School Readiness Program

Our pre-school program at Being Pymble is designed to equip children with the knowledge and skills needed to begin a life-long love of learning. We work closely with the principals from local primary schools such as West Pymble Public School and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Catholic Primary School, to ensure that children are prepared for the next step in their education.

Pre-Lit Early Literacy Program

Through our partnership with Macquarie University, we offer a structured PreLIT early literacy program, as well as a world first exponentials program which provides pathways for children to explore STEAM, through a project-based curriculum focused on exponential sciences and technologies.

Partnering with Parents

A child’s development requires a team approach, and we work closely with families to monitor the progress of their child, setting goals and assessing learning outcomes every 8 weeks.

Parenting Support

With over 20 years of experience, we know that parenting can be hard. We share resources, insights, research and advice via regular parent-teacher evenings, events and seminars, and one-on-one mentoring to help families develop

We offer so much more!

While we provide a long list of impressive inclusions at Being, it’s the why and how we deliver our care and early education that makes us different.

Come in and meet us, and experience first-hand the difference that the Being early learning approach can have for you and your family.

I STEAM Ahead is an Early Learning Centre in Brookvale caring for children aged between six weeks and five years and gives your child skills to become problem solvers and communicators of the 21st Century. STEAM is Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts and Maths and its very big in Primary Schools and definitely in high schools and it’s like a hands on project based type of learning and we started to look at how well can we incorporate that into the early years.

...

STEAM is a mindset approach, it is about creating children to be thinkers, problem solver, be creative, ask questions to be inquisitive. We pride ourselves on being a family run business an independent childcare. We are just excited to meet new people and see why we are different. We have been operating like a boutique style early learning centre and we have been able to create good ratios to children. The children are getting a lot of that one to one care. It is a personalised service and children interests can be really captured on and enhanced. We will we have tried to make the experience for parents as hassle free as possible it is basically a backpack and a bottle of water and we take care of the rest. We do include some extra curriculum activities and we like to include them in our prices, so we offer Young Yogis which is a yoga session for children. We have our Ready Steady Go sports program, and we have Happy Feet which is musical and fitness program. Kids love it, parents love it, and they do not have to pay or organise anything for it.

Our STEAM philosophy changes the way people perceive an educator, where traditionally the educator is teaching the children the facts, but we believe in the teacher stepping back and facilitating the children in their growth development. If we did not love children, we would not be doing this, and we generally have a very family orientated centre!

This hardware upgrade by the external host did not anticipate its new servers to being incompatible with ACA NSW's 5-years-old cloud-based membership database.

A replacement database is now underway. However, this means that ACA NSW's staff may not be able to handle all members' inquiries until next week.

As such, ACA NSW asks members for their forbearance and understanding.

Should members need further information/clarification, please do not hesitate to contact ACA NSW on 1300 556 330 or nsw@childcarealliance.org.au.
