At All Star Learners, we’re for fun, play and creativity. We’re for learning new languages, exploring the bush and the beach, playing musical instruments and singing our hearts out. We’re for leaping and balancing and stretching and kicking goals. When we need to we’re for resting little bodies and busy minds. We’re for testing and learning limits and what’s possible in a safe environment. We’re for building, baking, growing and gardening. We’re for independence, kindness, empathy and resilience. We’re for our children, our families, our carers and our community.

Established in 2007, All Star Learners offers a range of early childhood education and care services from birth to primary school. Our focus is on providing a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment for the development of every child in our care. We welcome children from 0-3 years in our Early Years Care program and the All Star Learners Preschool program starts from 3, continuing to 6 years. Our qualified team of Educators work closely to create a nurturing, secure, fun and stimulating home-away-from-home for our children. Children then have the opportunity to be engaged in the Star Club program for out-of-school-hours care. This includes before & after care plus vacation care services.

...

At All Star, extra-curricular activities are offered consistently throughout the year, most with no additional fee. These include boxing fitness, yoga, sports workshops, music & dance workshops. Beach Kindy is an embedded part of the program, which compliments planned experiences at the centre. Our Beach Kindy program involves regular visits to the La Perouse / Yarra Bay bush and coastland, where children spend the day learning from the nature.

Risky play is a natural part of children’s play and at All Star Learners, we believe is an important part of how they learn to build skills and resilience. It provides opportunities for our children to challenge themselves, test limits, explore boundaries and learn to assess their own hazards. Children may be exposed to activities such as tree climbing, using wood-working tools, gymnastics equipment, water activities and more.

Kindy Korner Children Services was delighted to receive the exceeding rating in our most recent Assessment & Rating. The John St service is a small 28 a day service based in the northern suburbs of Wollongong. We boast a dedicated team of educators who’s passion for early childhood is second to none. We are so proud to be affiliated with ACANSW who always offer such supreme support and guidance.

...

From 1983 Kindy Korner Children Services – John St has stood for quality; quality education, quality relationships and quality care. Our educators believe in quality and this underpins our practice daily.

Kindy Korner Children Services has been a family owned and run service since the early 80’s and although we have witnessed a great deal of change in the sector, what hasn’t changed is our commitment and devotion to early childhood education and care. We have and still believe that children are our future and we as educators are entrusted a magnificent honour in our role in children’s lives in the early years.

Educators at Kindy Korner believe that their interactions with children and their families to be an integral part of our service as we acknowledge that families are children’s first teachers and we at service level are to supplement the teachings being made at home and encourage family participation constantly.

Our children enjoy having a deep and meaningful connection with our local Community Garden and have an amazing awareness of environmental sustainability and being eco-friendly. They love our yoga programs and enjoy our ‘stretchy stories’.

Art is an enormous focus within our program and all children thrive on being able to express themselves through art and creative expression.

We are proud to partner with local school communities as our preschoolers benefit from these connections also.
