Acquitting/Reporting on Start Strong funding

ACA NSW is proud of the increased Start Strong funding of between 51.4% and 328% for NSW-based long daycare services that finally began in early 2023. Such increases in funding finally corrects an unfairness that began since 2014.

And as the new FY2023/2024 financial year approaches, discussions are continuing with the NSW Department of Education as to what is the best and least burdensome way to provide acquittals/reporting of the Start Strong funding received.

ACA NSW is pleased that the NSW Department of Education shares the same view especially given the severe labour shortages and the post-COVID fatigue currently being experienced.

By Friday, 14 July 2023, ACA NSW members are being warmly encouraged to provide suggestions/recommendations via the form below for subsequent advocacies with the NSW Regulatory Authority.
