Another successful Hub Huddle ... in Wollongong

On Monday, 1 May 2023, ACA NSW hosted another (regional) Hub Huddle in Wollongong's Steamers Bar & Grill with local Approved Providers and senior staff, and again with two senior representatives from the NSW Department of Education.

In the context of the current and very real challenges faced by services as well as sector fatigue, topics discussed included the proposed changes in A&R, worsening labour shortages, service viabilities, regulatory rigidity, more changes (eg the EYLF v2.0) and also Authorised Officers.

It was an effective opportunity for both services and the regulator to connect and discuss serious issues and perspectives.

ACA NSW continues to host its regional Hub Huddles for ACA NSW members and non-members in Coffs Harbour  (17 July 2023), Newcastle (4 September 2023), Dubbo (25 September 2023) and Wollongong (9 October 2023).
